Dr. Dirk Franke combines a rigorous scientific education with many years of an exceptionally broad technical practice in intellectual property.

A chemist by doctorate, he handles mandates across almost the entire spectrum of applied technology – from medical technology and mechanical and plant engineering to agricultural technology – acting for clients across Europe, North America and Asia.

His particular strength lies in translating between disciplines: inventions that combine chemistry, mechanics, electronics and software are ones he grasps with technical precision and turns into robust, enforceable rights.
